A Mad Tea Party

My desk is a mess! But heres a little picture of Haru (still not certain about his name..it doesn’t feel quite right) and Mai (with one of her new wigs!). Ordered her some new eyes last night. Green glass ones. She’s got green ones at the moment, but they’re a bit too…yellowly bright. I just wanted her to have plain green ones which unfortunately I can’t seem to get from the eye place I usually like to use for a price I can afford. Haru still needs his own wig- ones with standard wig caps seems to work ok, may try him in Mai’s old wig later if I cut into it to make room for his elf ears. Not sure about his eye colour either, hes best at size 14mm I think, I’m trying Mai’s as that I think (or did I order 16mm again? I cannot remember..) as either seems fine. Just still -sigh- she needs her face up! If I tidy my room today maybe if the weather is nice I can seal her face & get to that tomorrow. ^_^

 I’ve only had my RS Song (still called Haru, I’ll be sure once I’ve got the right eyes & wig on him) 2 days, but tomorrow I’m going away for a few days to see my friend, and I’m going to be really sad to leave him behind :( Hah. Well at least I made him some nice jeans today &hopefully while I’m gone the wigs I ordered will arrive. Mostly they are for Mai’s benefit- poor dear is being a tad neglected (I got them sitting together on the sofa I made them! Its not like shes collecting dust somewhere), I think this is because Song is THE doll I wanted (though the mold changed over time, its the same…character essence I was wanting?) since I was 16/17 so I’m just so happy & bonding with him super fast. & that I now see Mai’s current wig as wrong, and she has no face up- soon she’s going to get all that, & I think her character will fit and then I think we’ll both be happier! ^_^ She’s going to be a fiesty little red head, with gingham to boot. Right now they both seem…like neutral gender?? haha. Like shes a tomboy and hes a girly boy so its hard to tell on both where one gender end and the next begins :S I’m definately going to order her some eyelashes XD Now I’ve got a doll of each gender I think it’ll be easier to sort that out- because before I kinda wanted to make boyish clothes, so Mai just became super tomboy, but now I want to make her girly things as I have a boy for the boy clothes!

I just hope when I get back the weather is reasonable so I can sort out her face up! =D Heh, right off travelling tomorrow so bed now!

My song arrived today! It was all so quick, was expecting it to be a few more weeks, got an email from the UK dealer Thursday night to say he’d arrived with them that day(they hadn’t been given a tracking number for him so it was a bit of a suprise!), he was mailed out Friday and arrived at about 11am this morning! I waited a few hours to open him so I had the rest of the day to sort him out a bit. Clothes & wig are temporary, I think it’ll stick but either way right now his name is ‘Haru’ (or Haruki for long..) I adore him sooooo much! :D
